I've been yo-yoing between Necro, Druid and Barb. Any tips?įor those who are undecided still, like me, whats holding you back from settling on a specific class? I am excited to play D4, Rogue might end up being the closest to the feeling I am trying to achieve but trying for a build somewhere in between a Barb / Rogue style. Just wondering how much variance there is in the Rogue builds to do something like this. Basically was anyone able to set it up a bit closer to a Templar style of Melee, a tad bit slower / beefier but not quite Barb? I am not quite sure if I am explaining clearly. Is it possible to make a Rogue a bit more tanky? I was not able to play it on the Beta test, have only seen short videos but it seemed to be maybe kind of squishy-ish? and very clicky. I have seen a bit about Rogue in D4 having traps, has anyone gone full traps? how did it play in comparison to the ones I mentioned? Whether its tossing traps and hanging back in D2, or Totems in PoE, those classes have a certain feeling that I enjoy. I am not sure if the D4 build have anything like this sort of feel, is there anything? I tend to play mid-range characters that have decent beefy armor/defence with a shield. What type of playstyle do you find most fun? layed back? super clicky? Is the playstyle of the current Classes, or lack there of, making it a hard choice? In PoE I played alot of Stormcall, Spectral Throw, Totems, Lancing Steel, Reave. In the end I guess I am just missing the Crusader feel. So I am somewhat undecided still, I am not quite sure if Necro is my jam anymore these days even though it seems fun. Now it comes down to D4, I Beta tested the Necro and had fun, Rogue looks cool, Barb is Barb, Druid will probably end up being pretty good despite early game, and I have never been much of a Sorc/Wiz player. At D3 launch I played Barbarian and eventually mained Crusader throughout Reaper of Souls. I played Necromancer since original D2 launch, my favorite class at the time, eventually moving on to being a Trap Assassin main for years.
